Next tuesday 24th of April 2018 I will be participating, as a member of the Jury, in the act leading to the PhD «The Emergence of Public Space in Barcelona throughout 20th Century», written by Idil Sürer under the supervision of professor Antonio Luna. Both belong to the the Departament d’Humanitats of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona.

The research aims to establish a comparison between the figures, and the impact in the city’s urban form through the design of its public spaces, of Nicolau Rubiò i Tudurí and Oriol Bohigas. Other members of the jury will be: Daniella Collafrancesca (Architect and Landscape Architect; Università Mediterrania Reggio-Calabria) and Rosa Cerarols (geographer; Universitat Pompeu Fabra de Barcelona).
